In May of 2020, I decided to stop writing on Medium and start a Substack newsletter. I didn’t have any lofty goals (and I still don’t). I just wanted to get some things out of my head and into the interwebs for other people to learn from, pick apart, or yell at me about.
As we hit our 4-year anniversary and approach 3,000 subscribers, I thought it would be a good time to catalogue all of the non-weekly-funding articles we have posted here.
I’ll save my thoughts for elsewhere but here is a summary of what we have written so far.
Some stats: 64 total , 26 ($), 38 Free (Note to self - you need to write more paid articles.)
These articles fall into 8 broad categories:
Market Maps - How do we break these huge categories into consumable chunks?
Foundation Projects - What our non-profit is building to help support the industry.
Power Lists - Who are the most influential people and companies in our space?
How I Invest - In case you want to pitch me or point out flaws in my logic.
How to Build a PropTech Strategy - I get asked all the time so I put it into a series of articles.
Stop Making These Mistakes - Learn from my mistakes (and the mistakes of others)
Warm (sometimes Hot) Takes - I have strong opinions from time to time. Please don’t cancel me.
Other Things I need out of my head - I wrote them down so I don’t have to think about them anymore. They are your problem now. (evil laugh)
Here they are (sorted by category):
